CroPBM has become a member of the European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance (ETHA)

We are proud to announce that CroPBM – the Croatian Society for Education and Promotion of Perioperative Bleeding Management and Coagulation Disorders has become an associate member of the European organization ETHA – European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance.

ETHA brings together leading organizations and experts in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis with the aim of:

• raising awareness about bleeding and clotting disorders,

• advocating for the inclusion of these topics in European healthcare strategies and patient safety policies,

• supporting research, clinical practice, and the education of healthcare professionals.

Membership in ETHA enables CroPBM to:

• actively participate in shaping EU healthcare policies,

• share Croatian experiences and initiatives at the European level,

• strengthen cooperation with international professional associations with the goal of improving patient care.

ETHA operates under the umbrella of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), and its work is based on an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

For CroPBM, this is an important step in strengthening professional influence in the field of perioperative hemostasis and a motivation for further development of educational and professional activities in Croatia and beyond.
